The Beans married in 1978 and they have raised three children - Travis, Randi, and Jessie - who are all now grown as adults. They became members of the church in 1979. Ray is a retired police officer for the City of Logansport and Christy retired as well.. Their favorite Bibles verses are John 15:16, Isaiah 41:10 and Jeremiah 29:11.
The Bean's group will begin this year meeting at the home of Nyla Buck through December, then begin meeting at their home through May. They pray at the beginning and again at the end of their time together, but the "meat and potatoes" of their time is in God's Word. They have become close by sharing their joys and struggles, and by learning about Jesus together. They currently are an older group with a few children but welcome all ages.
